A new national supermarket chain, Met supermarkets, is launching in Australia.
It is a new, national, regional, regional supermarket with the potential to expand its presence and to make the supermarket a much more attractive place to shop.
Met supermarket is opening in Melbourne’s CBD, and is aiming to expand into Brisbane, Sydney, Perth and Adelaide.
Met supermarkets is one of the biggest supermarket chains in the world.
The first Met supermarket store opened in South Australia in 2007.
In the years since, Met has expanded in the Sydney and Melbourne markets.
Met also has stores in the Canberra, Canberra, Adelaide and Canberra city regions.
“Met has had a phenomenal year, having opened its first store in Brisbane in 2019 and has now opened in the CBD of Melbourne, where it is looking to expand,” said Met’s chief executive, John Brown.
“The Melbourne market is very unique, having a vibrant, vibrant shopping environment and a strong connection to our customers.”
The Melbourne Met store is located on the first floor of the Met mall, at the intersection of Macquarie and Flinders Streets, on the corner of Melbourne Road and Macquarrie Street.
It has the capacity to house up to 1,000 customers and is a good place to get groceries, drinks and snacks.
The store is managed by the Melbourne Market Council, a non-profit organisation set up in the 1960s to support the city’s retail sector.
Met has been in operation in Australia since 1998, and has two other stores in Melbourne, one on Adelaide’s CBD and one in Perth’s CBD.
Met’s stores are located across Australia.
Met is one to watch in the national supermarket market, said Ms Brown.
The company is not looking to become a regional chain, but rather, to establish itself as a national supermarket.
“We want to be part of the national retail ecosystem,” she said.
“If you look at the trends of the last few years, the big retailers like Walmart and Aldi are very much focussing on their regional centres, and Met is doing the same.”
