The Associated Press – HONOLULU (AP) The first U.S. supermarket has added vegan options to its menu.
Hawaii Supermarket of Shoes says it’s adding more options to include products made from animals.
The chain is adding to its vegan offerings this year.
The store in Honolulu sells a selection of vegan items including salads, soups, sandwiches, salads, vegan and dairy-free items, tofu and eggplant.
A spokeswoman says the vegan options are available to customers of the store.
