Posted November 15, 2019 07:05:50Barbie is launching a campaign to raise awareness about the health benefits of vitamin D.
The retailer is launching “Barbie Beauty” in stores across the UK to promote its Vitamin D products.
The campaign will launch on November 14 and run through November 28, which is the International Day of the Vitamin D Diet, according to the brand.
Vitamin D is a powerful antioxidant that helps maintain and repair the body’s cells, says the brand website.
“It’s important to be active on a daily basis, to be healthy and to stay well.”
It is important to have a healthy diet, including healthy foods and healthy physical activity, to help ensure a healthy skin and body.
The brand has teamed up with Vitamin D Canada to promote Vitamin D in Canada and in the US.
“Vitamin d is a vital part of our overall health, and we want to encourage people to take their daily vitamin D intake, with the help of the vitamin D-Canada Partnership, to ensure they can get the best vitamin D treatment and support for a long life,” the brand said.
“We also want to remind people that the benefits of taking vitamin D supplements and having a healthy body are still in their own right, so we are working hard to make the best of what’s available.”
“Barbie’s Vitamin D is available in all its beauty products, including the popular BFF line, as well as some of the more exotic shades,” the company said.
Barbie has previously created a campaign aimed at highlighting the health effects of the sun and its effects on skin.
The Australian retailer launched a campaign in the 1980s to encourage the uptake of vitamin K3, which has been linked to a reduced risk of skin cancer.
It also created a Vitamin D TV show in 2008 and launched a range of Vitamin D-focused merchandise in 2017.
Victoria’s Secret is also launching a ‘Beauty and the Body’ campaign on the same day as the launch of the campaign.
“A healthy lifestyle is about being active and staying active, so our latest campaign is designed to help you keep active and healthy and we’re delighted to partner with Victoria’s secret to make it even easier,” Victoria’s secrets spokesperson Katie Lees said.
